6.4 Fastener and Fitting Inspection



All system fasteners should be checked prior to pump operation, and occasionally during use. This

would include:



 The mix chamber tie-rods

 Motor mounting bolts

 Hardware that secures the pipe clamps to the frame

 All piping unions and connection points



Most hardware can be checked simply to ensure it is not loose. However, utilize the following values

when checking the mix chamber hardware:


